Located seven miles above Silverton, Colorado, our vast alpine terrain offers an unforgettable experience, with chutes, steeps, glades, trees, and wide-open bowls reaching up to 12,500 feet.

We're also thrilled to announce that this season, Silverton Powdercats is under new management. Erick Loyer, a familiar face in the Silverton backcountry community, is now at the helm. With over 20 years of experience in the area and a long history as the owner of Ice Pirate Backcountry Adventures, Erick's deep knowledge of the terrain and passion for the mountains will guide Silverton Powdercats into an exciting new era.
